Are there people here who moved to the Netherlands and liked it?
Main Post:
According to this subreddit, the Netherlands is one of the worst countries in the world to immigrate to.
I'm wondering if there are people here who moved to the Netherlands and are enjoying it? After spending several months in the Netherlands I've fallen in love with it and want to move there.
My values are pretty similar to Jason Slaughter and he appears to be thriving in the Netherlands.
Top Comment: I don't think that's what subs like this and r/IWantOut think about the Netherlands. I think that especially in online areas like Reddit where NJB has a notable presence, the Netherlands gets a lot of great PR. Part of moving anywhere is recognizing what the downsides are, both the downsides on paper and the downsides that are specific to you, and then asking if you can live with those negatives. People who have Paris Syndrome of a place will inevitably crash when they realize the Disney Land they've built up in their heads is actually a real place with real people and real problems.
